CBP/IBP PROGRAMME IMPLEMENTATION STRETEGY :
The programme implementation strategy ( adopted previously and the
steps invloved) is mentioned below :
KVIC Vertical model ( 40 days HRT ) plant consists of the following
plant components:
- Preliminary data collection,
scruitinisation, site selection : Based on the user request
, the necessary preliminary data collection , its
scruitinisation , site selection is done. This step involves
motivation of the beneficiary , site visits / discussions with
beneficiary & preparation of feasibility report along with
confirmation / resolutions / undertakings mentioned below) etc.

- Pre-execution exercise

includes the site
selection /finalisation , collection
of user contribution in full or partial and placement of order
etc.

- Project Execution exercise
|
involves
the following stages |
- Site visit for site clearance
and layout finalisation in consultation with user agency jointly
.
- Inspections of work progress
especially at the stage of
- Digestor excavation, material
procurement, laying of digester foundation etc.
- Physically work completion of
Bio-gas plant including construction of digester, feed &
slurry handling system , holder fabrication , laying of gas
distribution system etc. (i.e. completion stage)
including construction of water removing chambers (WRCs)
and fitting of gas appliances etc.
- Plant initially charged , gas
generation started and gas is used (etc. plant commissioning
stage)
- Inspection of plant at
completion stage to see the commissioning of the plant with
initial feed material , gas generation and gas utilisation
system (GDS) to user’s satisfaction (Joint Commissioning
Certification stage).
- Periodical follow up &
monitoring of the project .
- Attending the complaints of
users , if any , even after expiry of performance period.
