GEDA has evolved a range of exhibitions and demonstrations in mind the varied interest and need levels of its specific target groups: users in rural and tribal areas, urban homemakers, school children and educational institutions, urban and rural industry and general users.

GEDA reaches out to rural and tribal audiences by participating in exhibitions at melas and local fairs and schools events through the doorstep demonstration service provided by its Mobile Renewable Energy Demonstration Unit.

GEDA provides information support to NGO's and local schools who wish to organise their own exhibitions on Renewable Energy. Exhibition Panels on Renewable Energy are also available on loans to NGO's and local educational institutions.

GEDA works in collaboration with local community organisations and government and voluntary bodies to design and establish Energy Parks and Renewable Energy Education Centres with a participatory focus to strengthen understanding and appreciation of Renewable Energy Technologies in field conditions. The Renewable Energy Learning Centre at the Rajkot Community Science Centre was developed through funds organised by the Rajkot Municipal Corporation. GEDA will establish a major State level Energy Park at Science City, Ahmedabad.

To generate an interest in Solar Cooking, GEDA organises Solar Cooking Demonstrations at exhibitions and melas and at small residential gatherings. Solar Cooking competitions for women and children are also organised.

GEDA participates in state-level consumer Exhibitions and Industrial Fairs with appropriate information packages to reach the urban user and the business and entrepreneurial community.

GEDA participates in the state Republic Day Celebrations by designing theme-specific floats to capture people's imagination and highlight specific applications of Renewable Energy Technologies.
