PROGRAM REGISTRATION
The registration would be “free” for professionals qualifying the
profile described above and is limited to only one participant per
organization. Registration is by application as per the enclosed
application form.
About GEDA
GEDA is a state nodal agency promoted by the Government of Gujarat
for promotion and propagation of non-conventional energy sources and
energy conservation. GEDA is responsible for implementing
promotional schemes and provides financial support for R&D
activities to individuals, R&D Institution, research scholars, etc.
GEDA also provides technical support and training to interested
entrepreneurs for establishing RE manufacturing, marketing and
servicing facilities. GEDA has been approved as `Designated Agency',
by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE)-GOI, for implementation of
the EC Act-2001 in the Gujarat State.
About MNES
The MNES - Ministry of Non-conventional Sourcesis the country's Apex
Body established, by Govt. of India, for the development, promotion
and propagation of the non-conventional energy sources in the
country. The MNES is responsible for designing schemes & programmes
and provides financial assistance for undertaking R&D activities and
implementation of nation-wide RES promotional activities.
