To develop a
commercial prototype for typical pulse drying application
using producer gas as fuel and use the same as a demonstration
unit

To develop a
computerized data acquisition, recording and analysis system
with the help of interfacing and C++ programming technique.

To study the
heat transfer parameters for the system under producer gas
burner and establish the data and guideline for the
application of gasifier for the other high temperature
applications. The study will include the effect of scaling due
to producer gas on the hot air generator heat transfer
surfaces.

To develop the
database and guideline for retrofitting the present liquid
fuel based pulse dryer with biomass gasifier based pulse
dryer.

To develop a
dual-fuel burner using Light Diesel Oil (LDO) as pilot fuel
and producer gas as main fuel for the applications of hot air
generator of 1,00,000 Kcal/hr for the higher temperature
applications.
To analyze the
economic of such dryers (using hot air generator) when run on
producer gas mode and dual-fuel mode as compared to liquid fuel
mode. |
