Name of the project

Study, Analysis & Development of Commercially Viable Biomass Gasifier Assisted Hot Air Generator System.

A

Objective

  1. To develop a commercial prototype for typical pulse drying application using producer gas as fuel and use the same as a demonstration unit

  2. To develop a computerized data acquisition, recording and analysis system with the help of interfacing and C++ programming technique.

  3. To study the heat transfer parameters for the system under producer gas burner and establish the data and guideline for the application of gasifier for the other high temperature applications. The study will include the effect of scaling due to producer gas on the hot air generator heat transfer surfaces.

  4. To develop the database and guideline for retrofitting the present liquid fuel based pulse dryer with biomass gasifier based pulse dryer.

  5. To develop a dual-fuel burner using Light Diesel Oil (LDO) as pilot fuel and producer gas as main fuel for the applications of hot air generator of 1,00,000 Kcal/hr for the higher temperature applications.

To analyze the economic of such dryers (using hot air generator) when run on producer gas mode and dual-fuel mode as compared to liquid fuel mode.

Status of the project

The Gasifier and required instruments has been procured. The gasifier is under installation.

2 Name of the project  Field evaluation an  Field Evaluation  and demonstration of biphasic system for biomethanation   of vegetable waste.
A Objective

To demonstrate successfully tested biphasic technology for producing methane  gas and compost from vegetable market waste and produce a comprehensive report on technical and economic performance of a 3 ton per day biphasic system

Status of the project

 

Due to delay in acquiring land from Anand Municiplity, the project got delayed however now the construction of the plant has been completed.  The initial trial and feeding  of the plant is under progress.

4 Name of the project Replacement of inefficient diamond grinding lathe with new improved energy efficient mono-block diamond lathe.
A Objective
  1. To demonstrate and promote energy efficient industrial Technology.
  2. To improve energy efficiency of the diamond industry of Gujarat

To replace old and highly in-efficient lathe system presently used by the diamond industry of Gujarat with newly developed improved efficient mono-block diamond lathe.

5 Name of the project Development and field testing of SPV based Sprinkler and Lighting System for 100 nos. of cattle sheds
A Objective To develop, Optimize, Test and field level, Demonstrate and quantify benefits of SPV sprinkler and lighting system for small cattle shads having 10-15 cattle.
