Farmers holding minimum
5 acres of land with maximum 10 meters water table, will be eligible
to purchase one SPV pump set of 2 hp. Proof of land ownership such
as “7/12 nu utaro” from Talati shall be produced for the
purpose.

Normally one SPV pump will be given to each
farmer, however those farmer who have land holding of 10 acres or
more in joint name with blood relation can apply for two solar pumps
and also can share a single bore well, if technically feasible with
the approval of GEDA.

SPV pump sets shall be installed on “first
come first serve” basis.

Farmer will be required to deposit the balance
amount after considering the MNES and GEDA subsidy.

Interested farmers will be required to deposit
Rs.10,000/- per pump set as application fee for this purpose, which
will be adjusted subsequently towards his share in case of
successful farmer. In case of unsuccessful farmers, application fee
shall be refunded within three months. No interest will be payable
on this amount.

Successful farmer will be required to deposit the
balance amount per pump set to GEDA through demand draft within
twenty days from the date of issue of sanction letter for the SPV
pump. Seniority of farmers shall be fixed for installation of SPV
pump sets, on receipt of full payment. In case of non-receipt of
balance amount, the farmer shall have no claim for all the costing
of SPV water pump set. The application fee shall not be refunded in
such cases.

Farmer shall be required to sign Memorandum of
Understanding with GEDA before the installation of SPV pump as per
GEDA requirement. The farmer shall not be entitled to sell,
mortgage, transfer or otherwise part with the possession of the
whole or any part of the system for a period of ten years from the
date of actual installation of the system.

Installation of the SPV pumping system allocated
to the farmer shall be subject to the release of the funds from the
State Govt. towards additional assistance to the beneficiary. The
application shall not have any claim for the application or
allotment of the SPV water pumping system if it is not possible to
allot the system due to reasons beyond the control of GEDA.

GEDA has the right to reject or accept any
application in view of technical viability of the site for
installation of SPV pumping system.

The farmer shall sign an affidavit for its use
and shall not transfer the SPV pumping system to any other person or
site without written permission of GEDA.

The farmer shall be required to provide shadow
free bore well/ open well along with assembly as per requirements of
the site at his own cost.

The farmer shall be responsible for operation,
maintenance and security of the SPV pump set. The farmer should
inform to the manufacturer under AMC/ GEDA in case of
non-functioning of the system. In the case of any breakage, theft
etc. GEDA shall not be responsible for the same.

SPV pump set provided to the farmer shall be for
irrigation purpose and will not be used for charging of batteries/
other commercial purposes etc.

GEDA reserves the right to withdraw/ amend the
scheme at its discretion.

These terms and conditions will be followed in
general but GEDA reserves the right to alter any of these or as and
when considered necessary.

GEDA shall not be made responsible for
non-functioning of the system due to misuse and any alteration/
modification made by the farmer in the system without the approval
of the Agency.

In case of surrender/ cancellation, if the refund
of advance amount is sought before the acceptance of the
application, GEDA shall refund the application fee.

Farmer shall be required to submit the
application for the SPV pump complete in all respects and duly
signed by him on the prescribed application form through authorised
manufacturer to GEDA, 2nd floor Suraj Plaza-II, Sayajigunj,
