MARKETING OF SPV STSTEMS : 2003-04
Blank document for Authorisation of
Manufacturers for Marketing of Solar Photovoltaic (SPV) systems in
the State of Gujarat during the year 2003-04 shall be available from
GEDA @ Rs.500/- (non-refundable). Sealed offers are invited from
competent manufacturers for marketing of SPV systems. The sealed
offers shall be received up to 2:00 p.m. on 16/01/2004 by the Deputy
Director. The offers shall be opened on 16/01/2004 at 2:30 p.m.
Incomplete offers, offers without
requisite Earnest Money Deposit and offers received after due date
and time will be rejected outright. The Earnest Money Deposit of
Rs.50,000/- shall be in the form of a demand draft/ banker’s cheque
on a nationalized bank, favouring “Gujarat Energy Development
Agency”, Payable at Vadodara. EMD in no other form will be accepted.
SSI unit for Solar Home Lighting System and Solar Street Lighting
System registered under CSPO/ NSIC/ DGS&D shall be exempted for the
payment of the EMD.
The Director, GEDA reserves the
right to reject any/all offers without assigning any reason thereof.
In this deed of contract
unless otherwise specified, GEDA shall mean, the Director or
his representative of Gujarat Energy Development Agency, with its
Head Office at 2nd floor, Suraj Plaza-II, Sayajigunj,
Vadodara – 390 005; and Manufacturer shall mean the party
whose offer shall be accepted by GEDA and shall include his
heirs, legal representative.
Before submission of the offer, the
Manufacturer is required to make themselves fully conversant
with the technical specifications etc. so that no ambiguity arises
on a later date. If a Manufacturer finds any discrepancies in
or omissions from the specifications or if he is in doubt as to
their meaning should at once intimate GEDA and obtain
clarification in writing prior to submission of the offers.
Offer shall be submitted in a
sealed envelope superscribed “OFFER FOR MARKETING OF SOLAR
PHOTOVOLTAIC (SPV) SYSTEMS-2003-04” sent through Registered
Post/ Speed Post/ Courier/ Hand Delivery and should contain two
envelopes inside it.
Part-I Technical Bid
should contain Company details, Copy of SEC/OATC test report issued
during 2002-2003 or 2003-2004 only, Agreement duly executed on
Rs.50/- non-judicial stamp paper, Copy of SSI certificate, Copy of
partnership deed/ownership document, Copy of balance sheet of last
three years, List of machinery, List of the dealers and their
addresses, Demand draft for Earnest Money Deposit, brochure,
literature etc.
Part-II Price Bid
should contain price schedule only.
Both Part-I and Part-II should be
submitted in separate envelope superscribed Part-I Technical Bid
and Part-II Price Bid on the envelope. Two-envelope system
should be followed. Each page of the document should be numbered and
signed by the manufacturer.
Offers, submitted by
Manufacturer having relatives working in GEDA, shall not be
considered.
